The NorthCap University(NCU) has
taken the lead to make its students competent enough to face up the upcoming
challenges and can inspire the world with their productive moves and hence to
provide the best innovative teaching and learning practices to their young
aspirants the university has introduced the MOOC courses using the Swayam
Portal (an initiative of Government of India MHRD) in its curriculum and has
made it mandatory for all its schools or departments as per the UGC mandatory
guidelines.
The University is offering MOOC
courses through the Swayam portal in its all schools(B.Tech/Law/Management) and
their departments and has also taken the NPTEL Local Chapter for the smooth
conduct at the university level. NPTEL is a joint initiative of the seven IITs
and IIScand providing quality engineering and management education across the
country through the Swayam Portal. NPTEL not only benefitting student community
but also facilitate faculty with the courses that can be used for faculty
development program credit approved by AICTE. The University Local Chapter is
well-equipped to manage any technical snags that were encountered by the studentsand
facultyand are always warm and encouraging.
NPTEL courses provide many
