Online Classes Initiative by The NorthCap University

I feel pleased to state that in recent times of the COVID-19 crisis, The NorthCap University took lucrative measures to provide a troublesome free education to all its students. It gives me immense pleasure to be associated with this University who came out with this best possible amicable solution and implemented it with much ease and poise.

Keeping because of the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic and the situation arising at an alarming rate, The NorthCap University executed the idea of Online Classes with effect from March 16, 2020. The idea ensured the smooth functioning of the classes calmly and constructively. The University is practicing online education for its regular students and making it an essential component of learning.

The University understands the sensitivity of the issue to the deepest level and followed the Government’s directives instinctively. Being proactive in the course of action, the University maintained absolute cleanliness and hygiene and promoted social distancing, eventually leading to the suspension of regular classes till March 31, 2020.

In the real sense, I feel that the transition from the regular classes to online classes must have been very strenuous as the time frame was too short. But the work so done on the part of the University is worth appreciating and admirable. The University emerged out as successful gainers from this hard time in making the students provide a good alternative solution to the ongoing teaching-learning process with no further loss.

Everyone, including the teachers and the students, was made abreast with the use of a professional online platform by the name of ‘Microsoft Teams.’ We were made well informed regarding the prerequisites required to initiate its usage. The login credentials were mailed to all the students well in advance, and a reminder was also given to join the class at the appropriate time.

I believe that the reaction to the online classes held is very positive. It’s a welcoming gesture on the part of all the students to accept the process. Not only are the lectures held efficiently, but the efficacy of the lab classes is also very high. This is very much evident from the attendance of the lot, which turns out to be cent percent every time. This, in a way, depicts that the students like the online classes in a way they are being held.

The implementation of online classes has emerged out to be a huge success. It never gave a feeling other than the regular classes being held. The interactions between the teachers and the students have been intact. Whenever required, the students asked their doubts through the Microsoft Teams medium.

All in all, the enforcement of the online classes in the NorthCap University is a beautiful achievement which not only provides the fraternity experiential learning but also helped each one of us go through the process of technological advancement. I strongly feel that The NorthCap University will continue to ace situations like these in the coming future with such a dedicated staff who believe in making things ready and more straight forward for its students always.
