The institution of study plays a vital role in an individual’s life. The knowledge and education provided at NCU is beyond academics. The guidance and efforts of faculty help students in shaping their career and develop skills, attitude and confidence. A persons gets to understand his role, dreams and identity during college years. To succeed in life, one must not only focus on formal education but also real life experience and opportunities for overall development. NCU prepares its students for all the strenuous tasks and challenges of the real world.
Some of the skills promoted at NCU are soft skills, teamwork, creativity, network and relationship building, values and ethical standards, core values assessment. For accomplishing personal and professional endeavors, students must master skills like problem solving, communication, leadership and collaboration. At NCU, there are several clubs and societies which help students in acquiring these skills by organising seminars, workshops, group discussions and competitions periodically.
The professional societies are IRSC, IEEE, SPIE, SPACE, ISRAE provide students with a platform to discover and improve their skills and knowledge in various fields. Some of the clubs that contribute to the same are, Rotaract, Synergy, Recreational, Mathemactive, Abhimanch theatre etc. Faculty working in NCU have very rich experience and help students in every possible way . They help them find their weakness, strengths, interests and talents.
