Mathematics makes a man methodical or systematic and it prevents chaos to make our life orderly. It is said so because the power of reasoning, creativity, abstract or spatial thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving ability and even effective communication skills, all are nourished by Mathematics. In the present scenario, one need to be more skilful and innovative in their approach to achieve more successful life. Mathematics offers rationality to our thoughts to make our life simpler and easier. Mathematics is the cradle of all creations, without which the world cannot move an inch. Be it a cook or a farmer, a carpenter or a mechanic, a shopkeeper or a doctor, an engineer or a scientist, a musician or a magician, everyone needs mathematics in their day-to-day life. Even insects use mathematics in their everyday life for existence. Snails make their shells; spider design their webs; and bees build hexagonal combs. There are countless examples of nature’s phenomena where a mathematical pattern can be observed. The concepts of mathematics can be made easier and enjoyable by taking real life examples and situations. The young minds are attracted by mathematical activities, games and puzzles because it develops clarity in their thinking. Few industrial phenomena where mathematics plays an important role are: generation of encrypted codes for the protection of financial accounts with the help of algebra, analysis and design of control system of aircraft with the help of differential equations, statistical analysis of census data, scientific programming using numerical methods, optimization error modelling and so on. Mathematicians has the ability to think logically, to make a decision, to solve a problem which is required in many job sectors. The top jobs for mathematics graduate are actuary, data analyst, data scientist, statistician, game mathematician, programmer, cryptographer, aerospace mathematician, financial analyst and investment analyst. Some of the mathematics graduate opt for higher studies and make their career in the field of research and development.
