NCU's ₹ 1 Cr. Scholarship Program Is A Golden Opportunity For Civil Engg. Aspirants

Quality education is the most powerful weapon in an engineer's arsenal, which he or she can use to change the world. It is the key to creating a sustainable planet, reducing poverty, preventing illnesses and fostering peace. Unfortunately, in today's times, getting an engineering degree is financially challenging for most high school passouts. They need monetary assistance to pursue a dream career that requires several years of education. In such a situation, scholarships come up as the most desired form of financial aid. A scholarship saves students from going into debts, acts as a catalyst for excellent academic performance, and provides them with a career advantage.

Keeping this in mind, The NorthCap University has announced that it is offering an Early-Bird Scholarship program worth Rs 1 Crore to Civil Engineering students. All aspirants who are enrolling into the full-time 'B-Tech in Civil Engineering with specialization in Infrastructure Development & Smart Cities' program in 2020-21 are eligible to apply. The university will automatically award those students who meet the criteria.

This is a golden opportunity for budding engineers to avail quality education at an affordable rate and kickstart a successful career in the fast-booming civil engineering landscape of India. Fifty percent (or ten seats) are reserved for those Class XII Science (CBSE) students who have scored 80.1 percentile or above marks. Similarly, twenty-five percent (or twenty-five seats) of the scholarships will go to those who have scored between 70 - 80 percent. Candidates interested in taking advantage of this opportunity can get in touch with Prof. Ram Karan Singh (Head Of Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering) at +91 7683014374.

With this initiative, The NorthCap University aims to promote academic excellence and play a contributing role in transforming India into a place for quality engineering education & research - something that matches the objectives of the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Make In India campaign. More importantly, NCU hopes to use the Scholarship Program to identify and groom future thought leaders and change-makers who can move the frontiers of engineering research.

This being an early-bird scholarship, The NorthCap University prompts students to hurry as it will award seats on a first-come-first-serve basis. The university holds the right to deny or revoke scholarships to a student at any time, in case he or she is found to be ineligible as per the admission requirements. Also, NCU can make any changes or amendments to the terms and conditions of the Scholarship Program, if necessary.
